The mission of the North High School Saxon Regiment is to provide a quality music education to all students. Our objective is building quality by focusing on the individual performer. The NHS Saxon Regiment performs at all of North High’s varsity home football games and school assemblies, competitions, and other school and community functions. Through the band program, students gain a sense of belonging, teamwork, time management, dedication, self-discipline, leadership, cooperation, and responsibility. The relationships and skills students develop by participating in the Saxon Regiment last well beyond their years at North High.

The Saxon Regiment has represented North High with pride in competition, being named WBA Class 2A Champions in 2023.

Beyond the marching season, the North High Instrumental and Music and Band programs include Winter Guard, Winter Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Advanced Band, offering students year-round opportunities to grow as performers and musicians.
